For clarity,as it were.I paid 649.00$ Canadian(yes,Canuck) dollars for my 60gig launch PS3,small price when compared against the odds of my 3rd 360 working right.Games,media center, reliability,I am as of now,impressed.This social stigma associated with either console is in my opinion, ridiculous,a discerning consumer always wins.The initial investment,while seemingly large,becomes easily justifiable over the long term.Forget yellow lights,be ever vigillant for red ones.I don't 'hate' the 360...

My niece absolutely loves the Wii,she looks upon my ps3 with disdain lol.She is 5,I am 32,been gaming since my inception.

So that exploration actually is rewarded even at low levels.Do it like morrowind did it,some people are tough and some are not,regardless of player level.When every roadside miscreant is decked out in a full suit of glass or daedric,it loses its appeal.If I wander into a random dungeon maybe instead of rats it is home to a group of high level,well equipped brigands who dispose of me quickly,even if I am level one.Guess I should power up and return to the brigands hideout later.

You nailed it,a novel idea.Who better to test upcoming games than the very people who intend on buying them and what better time than now.We gamers are a discerning lot,we know quality and we can spot trash,as long as we are afforded the opportunity.More betas and more feedback from gamers equates to a better finished product which in turn translates to (hopefully) better sales.Everyone wins,in effect.
